An intelligent and pro-active calendar that shows you the right information, at the right time.

As part of Z1 team, I am working on visual and interaction design of upcoming features of Upnext application.

Challenge

The main problem that we are trying to solve with our application is to navigate your day more efficiently.
If you are running late, or want to get more information about next meeting attendees, or simply want to quickly call Uber to get you to next location - Upnext can help you with that.

Process

In order to try different ideas, I was heavily using Framer prototypes.
So we were able to gather user feedback quickly after doing user tests, iterate UI without spending too much developer resources to ship features that can fail.

In our case wireframes are used for internal brainstorming, but all the user testing done on live devices, giving users "real application feel" with Framer.

Outcome

We shipped most of the initial ideas into application which is currently live in appstore .

Right now to grow our user base we are developing MacOS application. I am producing visuals and Framer prototypes for it as well. Usecase is bit limited to mobile app - user still need to be able to navigate through his day, see info on attendees, emails related to next meetings, create new events or message attendees. Though most of smart widgets like pocket, producthunt, uber integration, plus places nearby are not really relevant when using desktop application.
